We visited our friend Paul in southern Nevada one evening while we were down in St. George for my Fall Break. Here are some photos of the pizza oven he built in the backyard. The food was amazing.
I had a fun Halloween party with some of the girls in my complex. We had home made chili and took photos of our babies in their Halloween costumes. It was a lot of fun. It was more work than I had anticipated but a couple good friends helped out and we pulled it off. Thanks everybody who came!
So lately my sister has been stealing photos from my photo blog http://ravenbergphotography.blogspot.com/ So I called her on and it turns out that not only did she put it up on her blog, but she published them too. So this little photo of Mary down bellow is in a magazine being circulated to every scrap book store across Europe. I didn't even know that my little girl was so famous! Oh, and the paper is the latest from cosmo cricket check them out here http://cosmocricket.com/
Mary still hasn't taken her first unassisted steps, she can however climb. She loves to climb up onto the computer chair and then play with the computer. Apparently this is what she thinks grown ups do all day long.
For her birthday we bought her a used doll, and she loves it. I first knew that we had to get her a doll when she stole a little girl's doll during sacrament meeting and refused to give it back. And I must say I am a very proud mommy that Mary is taking such very good care of her little baby. She loves to hold it and pat it's back. I find it to be the cutest thing ever. And just yesterday I caught her feeding it from her sippy cup. I just had to grab the camera and get it on video!
When we were down in St. George we were able to see both grandparents and have them over to cellebrate Mary's Birthday. I wanted to make her a bunny cake since her actual birthday is on Easter. She had been eyeing her cake all day long. Everytime I lifted her up to table height she would want to touch it, but I didn't let her until it was time. Then when it was time she was a little timid to actually dig into the cake. And once she did she was quite a lady about it, she only attacked one bunny ear leaving the rest of the cake for the grown up to eat. What a nice baby!
A couple days I ago I found some of my old toy cameras. They actually work as cameras, or they did before Mary was playing with them, but they are plastic like toys. She loved them! I think she's going to grow up to be a photographer like her mommy! When I showed Jon this video he said, "so did you make this video just so you could taunt Mary?" I guess I kinda did...I read in a baby book that its a sign of development when your baby can object to something without crying. Just look how advanced Mary is!
